What You Can Expect
The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for supporting manufacturing engineering to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Engineering services may include cell management, process development, project management, process validation, tool design, and trouble shooting.
Work Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
How You'll Create Impact
- Assist in maintaining and improving controlled technical documents such as Tooling/Fixture prints, procedures, manufacturing aids, bill of materials and routers, utilizing Windchill JDE, Vault and Teamcenter.
- Support a wide variety of processing applications such as machining, finishing, forging, casting, cleaning, heat treating, bonding, molding, materials, etc.
- Item Number Assignment of new part numbers.
- Creation/Update Material Description Cards (MDC’s), Manufacturing Material Impact Assessment (MMIA), and Measurement Instruction Sheets (MIS)
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to ensure timely closure of changes and documentation accuracy.
- Improve process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.
- Execute to project plans and schedules for work activities.
- Communicate (written and verbal) with appropriate personnel from other departments.
- Maintain and improve controlled technical documents such as prints, procedures, bill of materials and routers.
- Improve process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.

Your Background
- B.S. in Engineering required
- Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledage of Zimmer Biomet Systems
