Job Description
Operate boilers, steam generation systems, and associated utility equipment as per SOPs.
Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, water level, fuel consumption, and steam output.
Perform routine inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, pipelines, condensate systems, and safety devices.
Ensure continuous steam supply to production, HVAC, and other utility users.
Conduct boiler water testing and maintain water treatment parameters.
Record operational data, utility consumption, and shift logbooks accurately.
Identify and report equipment abnormalities, leakages, and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with maintenance teams during preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with Boiler Act requirements, GMP standards, and EHS guidelines.
Ensure safe operation of pressure vessels, steam lines, and utility equipment.
Participate in safety audits, mock drills, and incident investigations.
Comply with statutory requirements under the Indian Boiler Regulations and Factory Act.
