The ERP Solution Architect designs business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready E2E solutions that involve, but go beyond ERP. In this role, you will design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards while managing non-functional requirements and evolving the architecture throughout the product life cycle. By solving complex technical problems, defining reference architectures, and aligning with the broader architecture community for governance, you will ensure robust implementations that deliver enhanced value to the organization.

Description of the area

Job Responsibilities

  • Scope:Primary point of contact on all matters concerning mediation and digital product provisioning. Designs solutions that meet requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards. Manages Non-Functional Requirements (NFR). Documents and evolves the architecture and ensures alignment with RDT architecture and governance.

  • Accountability: Solves complex problems, taking a new perspective on existing solutions and exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Maintains the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for the assigned solution. Assesses and consults on impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape. Owns all technical matters related to usage mediation and the provisioning of digital products in accordance to defined commercial models

  • Stakeholder Management: Explains difficult or sensitive technical information and works collaboratively to build consensus among product teams, business stakeholders, and technical peers. Drive all discussions with digital product teams to ensure adoption of commercial backoffice standards and processes

  • Impact/Strategy: Develops and maintains the product's technology roadmap. Provides technical oversight, guidance, and consultation for digital product teams. Identifies opportunities to enhance value and business processes, improves existing solutions, manages technical debt, and researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies.

  • Business / Technical ability: Brings technical expertise together with strong business understanding to lead the integration of digital product teams with commercial backoffice products

  • Support and operations: Supports the operational processes by analyzing end to end production issues and ensuring accurate and timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.

  • Extensive experience with System Integration Technologies and common Integration Design Pattern (MuleSoft and CPI preferred).

  • Knowledge of Convergent mediation (by digital Route)

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, integrated system landscape.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in using API tools like Postman/Bruno.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support, design or write functional specifications to ensure correct implementation of end to end / cross application features

  • Use your expertise in Agile methods like SAFe and Scrum, along with excellent interpersonal skills, to work seamlessly with local, nearshore and offshore teams.

Education / Experience

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing business-driven, standards-based solutions within an ERP environment.

  • Proven track record of maintaining solution roadmaps, assessing technology trends, and conducting vendor assessments.

  • Experience documenting and evolving architecture throughout the product lifecycle and aligning with enterprise architecture governance.

Technical Skills

  • Enterprise integration tools - Mulesoft, CPI, Solace, Event mesh

  • Proficient in using API tools like Postman/Bruno.

  • Developer experience in Javascript or Python

  • Expertise in managing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), defining fitness functions, and establishing reference architectures and patterns.

  • Basic understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 environments.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take new perspectives on existing solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining difficult or sensitive information and working to build consensus among diverse teams

  • Learner and curious with willingness to take ownership of topics and conclude with a solutions. This person will own issues end-to-end, ensuring they are fixed or that a well-defined solution is assigned to another team
