Senior SAP Business Objects Developer
Job Summary
Zimmer Biomet is seeking support for manufacturing application reporting development using SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and other reporting tools. This role requires strong coordination, technical oversight, and adherence to compliance and security standards within a complex manufacturing systems environment.
Work Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
How You'll Create Impact
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Report development, testing, and deployment: Create new reports, enhance existing reports, bugfix issues on existing reports using tools such as BOBJ, WebI, PowerBI, Snowflake, and more.
- Incident management using ServiceNow: Maintain Service Level Agreements, respond to end users, coordinate with application SMEs, support Global userbase.
- IT Change Management: Document and follow the change review and deployment process for necessary and timely approvals.
- ALM Report Validation: Write requirements, test scripts, and test steps. Perform test execution and capture evidence.
- Technical writing and documentation: Unit testing, user acceptance testing, design documentation, and user requirement forms.
- Supporting many parallel report developments and project deliverables simultaneously.
- Provide non-validated dashboarding solutions with PowerBI to meet business needs.

- SAP BusinessObjects Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI) and Universe Design Tool (UDT/IDT).
- SQL writing, reading, modifying for querying databases and understanding data structure.
- Report design standardization, naming convention, input controls, and output verification.
- Collaboration and Communication: Using Microsoft Teams and Email to plan and strategize with business stakeholders.
Your Background
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor Degree and 5-10 years relevant experience OR Bachelor and Master’s Degree with 4+ years relevant experience required
- ITIL Certification preferred
- 4+ years experience with the following programing languages; SQL, WebI, Universe Design Tool
- 4+ years experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or similar data structure.
- 1+ years experience with validation testing preferred
