To execute and monitor pharmaceutical packing operations in compliance with cGMP, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety while meeting production targets.

Job Responsibilities / Deliverables
Packing Operations
• Execute and supervise primary and secondary packing operations (blister, bottle, carton).
• Operate and monitor packing machines such as blister packing, bottle filling, labelling, and cartoning machines.
• Ensure adherence to approved BPR/BMR, SOPs, and packing specifications.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Documentation & Compliance
• Complete and review Batch Packing Records (BPR) accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Handle line clearance, reconciliation, and yield calculations.
• Support deviation, change control, and CAPA activities related to packing.
Quality & Regulatory
• Coordinate with QA and QC for in-process checks and release of packing lines.
• Ensure proper implementation of data integrity and good documentation practices (GDP).
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits.
Equipment & Manpower Handling
• Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of packing equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Guide and train operators and helpers on packing procedures and GMP practices.
Safety & Housekeeping
• Ensure compliance with EHS and safety norms.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline, 5S, and housekeeping in the packing area.

B. Pharm / M. Pharm

Technical Skills & Knowledge
• Hands-on experience with packing machines and processes.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and data integrity.
• Understanding of line clearance, reconciliation, and yield management.
• Exposure to regulated market packing (US/EU) preferred.
