Deputy Manager
Job Description
• Develop and implement SCM strategies for materials, equipment procurement, inventory control, and operations.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to balance availability and cost.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and third party logistics providers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (cost reduction, process efficiency and waste reduction).
• Manage inventory planning, stock levels, reorder points, and safety stocks.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers of raw materials, packaging items & MRO goods.
• Implement inventory management systems and cycle count programs.
• Work with QC for material release and compliance documentation.
• Analyze usage trends and demand forecasts to drive inventory decisions.
