- Track document components across drafting, review, and approval stages
- Ensure consistency in scientific terminology, formatting, and messaging across documents
Technical Communication & Quality Oversight

- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or unresolved comments and drive resolution
- Ensure document outputs meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements
Project & Timeline Management
- Develop and manage document timelines to support project milestones
- Monitor document readiness and proactively escalate risks to delivery
- Interface with project teams to align documentation activities with testing, study, or submission schedules
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central liaison between scientific, quality, regulatory, and client‑facing teams
- Support structured handoffs between authoring, review, and document coordination functions
- Maintain clear communication regarding document status, timelines, and expectations.
Role Context in Large or Regulated Organizations
In alignment with best practices in CROs and regulated laboratories, this role functions within a segmented documentation model, where:
- Authors generate technical and scientific content
- Reviewers verify accuracy, compliance, and scientific integrity
- Document Coordination ensures integration, consistency, governance, and readiness
This position plays a key role in the document coordination layer, while contributing directly to high‑quality scientific writing outputs.
