Your Role:
- Process R&D, Custom synthesis, Scale Up & Pilot plant.
- Kilo Lab Production.
- Characterization using IR, NMR, HPLC, Mass.
- Product planning and Scheduling.
- Process Improvements and trouble Shooting expertise.
- Organic Chemical synthesis.
Who you are:
Education: MSC (organic Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
Experience: 3 to 10 Years
Mandate:
- Having 6-10yr experience in pharma CRO, specialty chemical industry.
- Mandatory experience of working in process R&D, scale up, pilot plant, Kilo lab, small scale CatLog production.
- Experience in handling 1litre to 50litre scale reaction, workup, purification and characterization of the products using analytical techniques (eg. NMR, IR, GC, HPLC, MP, elemental analysis)
- Should have handled pyrophoric & moisture sensitive reactions and reagents at 20L scale.
- Handling independently reaction in shifts.
- Knowledge of organic chemistry synthesis, reaction mechanism, asymmetric synthesis, catalysis, ligand chemistry etc.
- Expert in purification techniques like high vacuum distillation, recrystallization, column chromatography etc.
- Expert in process development and scale-up up to pilot plant. Should have knowledge of tech transfer of process to pilot plant.
- Knowledge of Lean-six sigma will be added advantage.
- Should know GDP and have faced QA audits (GMP, ISO etc).
- Knowledge of SAP will be added advantage.
- Should have basic knowledge of Word, Excel etc.
