Job Description
1. Sr. Officer to Jr.Officer –Packing shall report to Senior Executive/ Executive Packing.
2. To prepare day-to-day packing planning.
3. To check the proper status labelling during packing.
4. To follow the procedure with the requirements of current good manufacturing practice
cGMP.
5. To check the preventive maintenance of equipments and calibration of instruments in
packing department.
6. To check the BPR with respect to packing material input, Output and processing.
7. To issue additional material from warehouse department.
8. To check the calibration of equipments like weighing balance as per the schedule and to
maintain the record for it.
9. To check the training and training record of senior operator to apprentice.
10. Responsible for on line entry of data in SAP S/4 HANA as per current version of SOP
No. JMF-SOP-0113.
11. To check that equipment, instruments are clean and operate as per the respective SOP.
12. To check that packing operation are carried out as per respective BPR.
13. To check that correct data is written in BPR equipment logs and various formats on line
as per respective procedure.
14. Responsible for performing in process tests as per respective BPR.
15. To prepare daily packing report.
16. To follow the safety practices in packing department.
17. To give suggestion with reference to cost saving /productivity improvement in yield and
other reason.
18. Responsible for controlling man and material movement as per process flow.
19. Responsible for managing the manpower at shop floor.
20. Responsible for good housekeeping practices in packing department.
21. Grievance of workmen, solve problem timely and report to superior.
22. To check the availability of first aid box.
23. Responsible for packing and other activities in the absence of packing Executive.
24. Manpower management and team alignment.
25. To be responsible to take part and give input & suggestion for quality and compliance
monitoring - QMS elements ( Change control , Deviation, OOS, OOT, Incident, CAPA, Complaints, QRM etc.).
26. All time readiness for internal and external regulatory audit and compliance.
27. To ensure the compliance on Data integrity, GMP, GDP.
28. To monitoring of plant performance indicators.
29. To follow the statutory, legal and safety compliance.
30. To ensure training and development of the people.
31. To ensure completion of necessary /assigned SOP/module/quality event based trainings
before initiating GMP work.
