Job Description
Job Profile:
- Perform primary cell culture, including stem cell culture, cell-based functional assays , Transfection through lipid or polymer-based systems, imaging such as immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy and involve in production of cell-derived products.
- Develop and optimize protocols for various cell and molecular biology techniques, such as RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, western blotting.
- Design and develop non-viral nucleic acid delivery systems, with a focus on platforms for next-generation RNA therapeutics.
- Assist in Nanoparticle Characterization techniques like DLS, NTA, TEM and Ribo Green/qPCR-style Encapsulation Assays.
- Experience in performing fluorescence/confocal microscopy and quantification of images.
- Experience in troubleshooting or optimizing experiments in a fast track mode.
- Basic understanding of biostatistical tests to analyze multimodal datasets. Analyze data and prepare reports
- Prepare SOPs for various experimental procedures
- Prepare data for internal and external presentations, communications and publications
- Participate in team meetings and scientific discussions
Required Skills / Experience
•Masters with 5 yrs. experience (OR) PhD with two years of Postdoctoral experience in the fields of Cell Biology , Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Drug Delivery, Nanobiotechnology
•Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based bio-assays, PCR/qRT-PCR, ELISA, nucleic acid delivery, nanoparticle synthesis , RNA Biology and characterization are mandatory requirements for this role.
