Job Description
Role: Senior Research Scientist - Biomaterials
Job Requirements:
· Conduct research on biomaterials targeted for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications and generate protocols for the same
· Expertise in more than one polymeric scaffold fabrication techniques, including (but not limiting) in-situ crosslinking and 3D bioprinting, preferably for generating complex tissue mimetic structures.
· Experience of processing different polymeric materials, having good understanding of their chemistry and properties. Having worked with polymer blends and composites will be a plus.
· Perform extensive physical, biological & chemical characterization for biopolymeric products. Innovate, conceptualize, plan, execute, analyse data and troubleshoot experiments
· Active participation in interdisciplinary research with colleagues and collaborators. Project or team management experience will be considered as a plus.
· Strong evidence of writing scientific documents like manuscript, patent, grant proposals, etc in the relevant research field and presentations in public platforms.
· Proactive external communications with vendors, suppliers for resources and instruments procurement, CROs for specialized services for pre-clinical studies.

Required Qualification and Experience
· Should have PhD or Postdoc with minimum 5 yrs research experience in material science, biotechnology, polymer science, life science
