Assistant, Packaging

Job Description (JD):

• Operate packing machines (blister/bottle/strip) as per SOPs
• Perform line clearance and batch changeover activities
• Ensure correct packing, labeling, and coding as per BMR/BPR
• Maintain cGMP, safety, and hygiene standards in the area
• Record daily packing and production data accurately
• Coordinate with QA for in-process checks and approvals
• Identify and report deviations, breakdowns, or abnormalities
• Ensure proper handling and storage of packing materials

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical packing operations
• Understanding of cGMP and SOP compliance
• Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling/coding
• Ability to handle machines and perform basic troubleshooting
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills
• Team coordination and communication skills
• Awareness of safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
